Today Groupon (www.groupon.com) announced the addition of in-store coupons to
its growing Freebies category (www.groupon.com/freebies), providing national
retailers with a programmatic way to reach millions of potential customers
with targeted promotions that drive traffic into their business. With the
addition of in-store coupons, national retailers can now use Groupon's
Freebies category to generate sales across multiple channels––whether it's in

Groupon (www.groupon.com) announced the addition of in-store coupons to its
growing )reebies category (www.groupon.com/freebies), providing retailers for
the first time with a programmatic way to reach millions of potential
customers with targeted promotions that drive traffic into their business.
Launched in Q4 2013 as an online-only category, Freebies includes nearly
30,000 digital coupons, promotion codes, sales, giveaways and samples from
nearly 6,000 leading national brands.
Freebies now offers in-store coupons for more than 250 national retailers
across 245,000 locations, including the following household brands:
* Staples: 25% Off Entire Office Supplies Purchase
* Macy's: 20-30% Off Women's Shoes Purchase
* Toys ‘R' Us: $5 Off Any Purchase of $20 or More of Barbie, Hot Wheels, Or
Fisher-Price Toys
* Sephora: 15% Off Entire Purchase
* JCPenney: 15% Off Jewelry Purchase
* PetSmart: $5 Off Any Purchase of $25 or More
In-store coupons are initially available for national retailers, with plans to
expand to small businesses later in 2014. Retailers interested in advertising
through the category can send an email to couponadvertising@groupon.com.
