Lone Star Funds Affiliate to Acquire DFC Global for $9.50/Share in CashThe Deal:
DFC Global
DLLR announced Wednesday that it has agreed to be acquired by an affiliate of Lone Star Funds for $9.50 per share in cash, for a total value of $1.3 billion. The agreement was unanimously approved by DFC Global's Board of Directors and is expected to close in Q3 2014.
DFC Global shares closed Wednesday at $9.45, a gain of 5%.
Cardinal Health Acquires AccessClosure for $320M in CashThe Deal:
Cardinal Health announced Wednesday it has agreed to acquire manufacturer and distributor of extravascular closure devices, AccessClosure, for $320 million in cash. The deal is expected to close by early June 2014.
Cardinal Health closed Wednesday at $70.28, a gain of $0.55.
Plug Power Acquires ReliOn for Approximately $4M in All-Stock DealThe Deal:
Plug Power
PLUG announced Wednesday it has acquired the assets of a developer of hydrogen fuel cell stack technology, ReliOn, for $4 million in Plug Power shares.
Plug Power closed Wednesday at $7.48 and traded around $7.80 after-hours.
