announced today that Craig A. Creaturo, chief financial officer, has tendered his resignation in order to pursue other interests. Mr. Creaturo will remain in his current capacity until a successor is appointed, and he will continue to assist the Company as an employee through February 28, 2014. After this date, Mr. Creaturo will serve as an advisor to the Company for an additional six months to ensure a smooth transition. The Company has initiated a formal search for a new chief financial officer. Francis J. Kramer, president and chief executive officer of II-VI Incorporated, stated "Craig has been a valuable employee of II-VI since he joined us over 15 years ago and has been a trusted colleague of mine since he became an officer of the Company in 2000. In addition to the strong finance, accounting, internal audit and information technology teams that Craig has compiled, he has consistently held financial integrity at II-VI to very high standards.
