Google Acquires France's FlexyCore for $23.1M

The Deal:
Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) has acquired French Android software company FlexyCore for $23.1M, according to L'Express.

The company's Droidbooster app boosts the speed of slower, older smartphones.

Google closed Tuesday at $1,007, a gain of $3.70.

Ebay Acquire Shutl

The Deal:
Ebay (NASDAQ: EBAY) has acquired same day delivery service Shutl, according to the company's blog. Terms were not announced.

Ebay closed Tuesday at $51.83, a loss of $0.11.

Market Chatter Circulating Regarding Cree Acquisition of Revolution Lighting Technologies

The Rumor:
Shares of Revolution Lighting Technologies (NASDAQ: RVLT) surged higher early Tuesday on unconfirmed market chatter the Cree (NASDASQ: CREE) would announce an acquisition of the LED lighting company.

A spokesperson for Cree declined comment on the rumor. A Revolution Lighting spokesperson was not available for comment.

Revolution Lighting closed Tuesday at $4.24, a gain of almost 4.5%, but fell 5.5% after-hours.
