Kayne Anderson Energy Development Company Increases its Quarterly Distribution 3.4% to $0.45/Share for Q3 2013

KED Kayne Anderson Energy Development Company (the “Company” or “KED”) announced today a quarterly distribution of $0.455 per share for the quarter ended August 31, 2013. This represents an increase of 3.4% from the prior quarter's distribution of $0.44 per share and an increase of 5.8% from the distribution for the quarter ended August 31, 2012. The distribution will be payable on October 18, 2013 to common stockholders of record on October 11, 2013, with an ex-dividend date of October 9, 2013. It is anticipated that none of this distribution will be treated as a return of capital for tax purposes.
