The following are the M&A deals, rumors and chatter circulating on Wall Street for Friday September 6 through Sunday September 8, 2013 Jacobs Engineering Acquires Sinclair Knight Merz for Approximately $1.2B The Deal:
Jacobs Engineering Group JEC announced Sunday it is acquiring Australian consulting and engineering firm Sinclair Knight Merz for approximately $1.1 billion in cash, plus adjustments for cash, debt and other items. The deal is expected to close by the end of Q1 of Fiscal Year 2014. Jacobs Engineering Group closed Friday at $58.08, a loss of 1.5%. Ebay Acquires Decide The Deal:
Ebay EBAY announced Friday that it has acquired shopping research site Decide.com. Terms were not disclosed. Ebay closed at $52.83 Friday, a gain of 1.5%. Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires R. W. Scobie The Deal:
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. AJG announced Friday the acquisition of R. W. Scobie, Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Arthur J. Gallagher closed at $43.05 Friday, a gain of $0.13.
