Hearing Rumor Cisco Could Make Offer for Rukus Wireless

The Rumor:
Shares of Rukus Wireless (NYSE: RKUS) moved higher Tuesday on unconfirmed market chatter of a potential bid from Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) of $20 per share.

Spokespersons for Rukus and Cisco were unavailable for comment.

Ruckus Wireless closed at $13.88 Tuesday, a loss of 1.5%.

Whiting Petroleum to Acquire Properties in Williston Basin for $260M

The Deal:
Whiting Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: WLL) announced Tuesday an agreement with a private party to acquire certain producing oil and gas wells and development acreage in the Williston Basin in Williams and McKenzie counties of North Dakota and Roosevelt and Richland counties of Montana for $260 million.

The deal is expected to close by September 30, 2013.

Whiting Petroleum closed at $50.61 Tuesday, a loss of $0.24.

Snyder's-Lance Acquires Stateline Service Corporation

The Deal:
Snyder's-Lance, Inc. (NASDAQ: LNCE), has acquired substantially all assets of Massachusetts snack food distributor Stateline Service Corporation. The purchase price was not disclosed.
