Wesco Aircraft Holdings, Inc. Announces Underwriter Exercise of its Option in Offering by The Carlyle Group

Wesco Aircraft Holdings, Inc. (“Wesco Aircraft” or the “Company”) WAIR today announced that in connection with the previously announced public offering of 6,000,000 shares of the Company's common stock by affiliates of The Carlyle Group (“Carlyle”), the underwriter has exercised its option to purchase an additional 900,000 shares from Carlyle. The stock was offered to the public at $18.87 per share. As a result, Carlyle will sell a total of 6,900,000 shares in the offering. The offering is expected to close and settle on August 13, 2013. The Company is not selling any shares of common stock in the offering and will not receive any of the proceeds from the offering of shares by Carlyle. Barclays will act as sole underwriter for the offering.
