Actavis Wins Approval for Pending Warner Chilcott Purchase in France

and Warner Chilcott plc

today announced that they have received approval from the French Competition Authority for Actavis' pending acquisition of Warner Chilcott.  The companies previously received approval from the German Federal Cartel Office and have now received all ex-U.S. antitrust clearances required to complete the transaction.
