GM China Sales Rise 11% In July

Sales of vehicles at General Motors Co GM and its joint ventures in China surged 11% to 221,580 units in July. Sales at GM's joint venture with Shanghai's SAIC Motor rose 17% to 113,239 units, while sales at GM's joint-venture with FAW Group dropped 4.1% to 3,239 units. GM shares closed at $36.95 on Friday.
