has appointed Mark Cleary vice president of supply chain management for the company's Linthicum-based Electronic Systems sector, effective immediately. In this position, Cleary is responsible for the development and implementation of Electronic Systems sector's supply chain management strategic plan, as well as the function's tactical day-to-day execution. He reports to Gloria A. Flach, corporate vice president and president, Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems. "Mark is a strategic leader with a wealth of experience and a broad skill set that will serve us well in this role," Flach said. "We are looking to Mark to continue to shape our global supply chain management function for strategic benefit as an innovative, efficient and quality end-to-end value chain." Cleary joined Northrop Grumman in 1979 and has held a number of leadership positions throughout his tenure. Most recently, he served as director of business management for the company's Land and Self Protection Systems Division, where he had responsibility for all business operation procedures, including ensuring the overall integrity, accuracy and timely preparation of financial statements for the division. Cleary earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University and a master's degree in corporate finance from Adelphi University. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Management program.
