Costco Posts Upbeat June Same-Store Sales

Costco Wholesale COST reported better-than-expected June same-store sales. Costco's sales at stores open at least a year jumped 6% in the month, versus analysts' estimates for a 5.4% gain. Costco's net sales surged 8% to $9.92 billion in the month. Costco shares closed at $113.65 yesterday.
