Statement from Navigant CEO, Julie Howard, in Response to the New York Moreland Commission Report

Julie Howard, Chief Executive Officer of Navigant Consulting, Inc., NCI released the following statement: “Over the past several days, there have been news reports related to Navigant's work for the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA). While we were not aware of the concerns raised in the Moreland Commission report until it was publicly released, we take the questions raised by the Commission in its report very seriously. Our reputation depends on strict adherence to the highest ethical standards in everything we do and we are committed to maintaining and defending our strong reputation among our clients, employees and shareholders. We will cooperate fully with any investigation if and when one is initiated. We are proud of the services we provide in New York and the value our employees bring to our clients. While from a financial perspective our New York public sector revenues are not material to the overall financial health of the company, our current and future relationships with this client base are very important to us. We intend to continue serving this client base with the same level of quality we have always delivered, and are proud of the outcomes we have had to date on behalf of the people of New York.” Statements included in this report and its exhibits which are not historical in nature are “forward-looking statements” as defined in the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.
