Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 54 points to 14,744.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 6.40 points to 1,587.80. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 15.25 points to 2,873.50.

A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index surged 1.50%, London's FTSE 100 index gained 1.01%, French CAC 40 Index climbed 1.82% and German DAX 30 index rose 1.47%.

Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 1.04%, China's Shanghai Composite dropping 0.41% and Australia's ASX/S&P500 rising 1.60%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index gained 2.43% and India's Sensex dropped 0.41%.

Broker Recommendation Analysts at Jefferies upgraded Adobe Systems (NASDAQ: ADBE) from “hold” to “buy.” The target price for Adobe has been raised from $45 to $57.

Adobe's shares closed at $44.37 yesterday.
