Transocean Issues Fleet Update Summary, Says New Pacts, Extensions Valued Since May 15 Valued at $262M

Transocean Ltd. RIG today issued a monthly fleet update summary which includes new contracts, significant changes to existing contracts and changes in estimated planned out-of-service time of 15 or more days since May 15, 2013.   The value of new contracts or extensions since the May 15, 2013 fleet update summary is approximately $262 million. Highlights are as follows: * GSF Explorer - Awarded a one-year contract for work offshore India at a dayrate of $412,000 ($150 million estimated backlog).  The rig was previously idle. * Sedco 704 - Awarded a six-month contract extension at a dayrate of $373,000.  Additionally, the dayrate for the existing two-year contract increased to $373,000 from $353,000 (estimated $80 million of incremental backlog). * Falcon 100- Awarded a 35-day contract for work offshore Congo at a dayrate of $300,000 ($11 million estimated backlog).  The rig was previously idle. * Estimated 2013 out-of-service time increased by a net 138 days primarily associated with contract preparation and mobilization of the GSF Explorer, Falcon 100 and Deepwater Millennium. * On May 17, 2013, the newbuild high-specification jackup, Transocean Andaman, commenced its three-year contract for work offshore Thailand.
