US Stock Futures Mixed Ahead Of International Trade Data

US stock futures are mixed this morning, as investors are awaiting international trade data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 6 points to 15,211.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 0.40 points to 1,635.80. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 2.25 point to 2,987.25. US stocks closed higher on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.92% to 15,254.03, the S&P 500 index gaining 0.59% to 1,640.42 and the Nasdaq 100 index surging 0.27% to 3,465.37. The ICSC-Goldman Sachs store sales index will be released at 7:45 a.m. ET, while data on international trade for April will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.37%, London's FTSE 100 index gained 0.46%, French CAC 40 Index surged 0.42% and German DAX 30 index rose 0.32%. Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average surging 2.05%, China's Shanghai Composite falling 1.17% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index rising 0.27%.
