JinkoSolar to Supply 5MW of Solar Modules in India

JinkoSolar JKS today announced that it has completed the delivery to a Photovoltaic Solar project of total 5 MW in collaboration with Sunkon Energy (P) Ltd. in Ghespur, Gujarat, India. Sunkon Energy (P) Ltd. has been using JinkoSolar modules since December, 2012 and Jinko PV modules have then successfully been generating power at a high performance ratio. With a total of 17,886 JinkoSolar poly-crystalline modules installed, the project was completed within 58 days and covers an area of 80,000 square meters. It is expected to produce 8,030 MWH of electricity per year and reduce CO2 emission by 7,882 tons. Being one of the world's most attractive emerging markets, India is densely populated, with increasing electricity demand and has high solar irradiation, an ideal combination for using solar power.
