Communications Workers Ratify 4-Year Agreement Covering AT&T Wireline Employees in West

AT&T* West today announced that wireline employees represented by the Communications Workers of America District 9 have voted to ratify a four-year contract.  The contract covers more than 17,000 AT&T wireline employees in California and Nevada. AT&T wireline employees represented by the CWA earlier ratified, on Aug. 17, 2012 three-year contracts for the Midwest region and AT&T Corp. (CWA Telecommunications and Technology Office); on Dec. 7, 2012 a three-year contract for the Southeast region; and on Feb. 27, 2013 a four-year contract in the Southwest. Together with the AT&T West agreement, these ratified agreements collectively cover about 77,000 CWA-represented AT&T wireline employees.
