US stock futures are lower this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 104 points to 14,581.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 11.90 points to 1,556.20. Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 23.25 points to 2,802.75.
A Peek Into Global Markets
European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell 0.85%, London's FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.52%, French CAC 40 Index declined 1.06% and German DAX 30 index fell 1.21%. Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 1.22%, China's Shanghai Composite falling 0.05% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 gaining 1%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 0.47% and India's Sensex declined 0.07%.
