Transocean Issues Summary of Fleet Updates

today issued a monthly fleet update summary which includes new contracts, significant changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated planned out of service time of 15 or more days associated with continuing operations since February 14, 2013. Highlights are as follows: -- Estimated 2013 out of service time decreased by a net 45 days. -- The company sold two standard jackups, GSF Adriatic VIII and D.R. Stewart, which were previously held for sale. The details of the transactions have not been disclosed. -- Well Control Equipment Recertification -- The company has now obtained third party certification of well control equipment on 42 of its 64 active floaters, including 24 of its 27 ultra-deepwater rigs.
