AECOM Announces Alliance to Deliver Largest Road Project in Western Australia

AECOM Technology Corporation ACM, a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for public and private clients in more than 140 countries around the world, announced today that an AECOM Australian subsidiary is part of a consortium that has been awarded a contract to improve access to Perth Airport, one of Australia's fastest-growing airports. AECOM's Australia subsidiary is part of a consortium of companies that have formed an alliance with Main Roads Western Australia to deliver the state's largest road project, the Gateway WA, which has a construction value of US$1.05 billion. AECOM's contribution is expected to generate revenue in excess of US$10 million. The alliance includes design partners GHD and BG&E, and construction partners Leighton Contractors and Georgiou Group. As design partner, AECOM will draw on national and international experience to provide engineering design, geotechnical investigations and environment approvals.
