A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are lower this morning, as investors are awaiting economic data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 35 points to 14,000.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 5.60 points to 1,507.50. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 7.50 points to 2,730.50.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell 1%, London's FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.51%, French CAC 40 Index tumbled 1.22% and German DAX 30 index declined 0.90%.
Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average gaining 0.41%, China's Shanghai Composite falling 0.26% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 dropping 0.38%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index declined 0.61% and India's Sensex rose 0.30%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Jefferies upgraded Autodesk (NASDAQ: ADSK) from “hold” to “buy.” The target price for Autodesk has been raised from $40 to $45.
Autodesk shares gained 1.44% to close at $36.72 yesterday.
