Shares of Archer-Daniels Midland (NYSE: ADM) traded higher in the after-hours session Thursday after Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway revealed a stake of 5.956 million shares in its most recent 13F filing.

Shares of Archer Daniels Midland traded up nearly two percent after-hours. For those unfamiliar with the company, ADM is a food processing giant.

Buffett has been active recently, earlier today partnering with Brazilian 3G to purchase Heinz (NYSE: HNZ) for $72.50 per share.

Given his long track record of success, the Oracle of Omaha's filings frequently carry the power to significantly move stocks. General Motors (NYSE: GM) was also up after after-hours, as Buffett increased his stake in the domestic auto giant.
