A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are mixed this morning, as investors are awaiting economic data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 14 points to 13,561.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 0.80 points to 1,478.10. Nasdaq 100 futures surged 2.25 points to 2,736.00.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell 0.15%, London's FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.11%, German DAX 30 Index dropped 0.41% and French CAC 40 Index fell 0.26%.
Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 0.35%, China's Shanghai Composite dropping 0.56% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 Index climbing 0.01%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index gained 0.29% and India's Sensex declined 0.60%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Credit Suisse downgraded Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN) from “outperform” to “neutral.” The target price for Amgen has been lowered from $100 to $90.
Amgen shares fell 1.05% to $81.22 in pre-market trading.
