A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning, as investors are awaiting consumer prices and industrial production data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 43 points to 13,137.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 4.30 points to 1,416.20. Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 3.75 points to 2,650.75.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were mixed today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.07%, London's FTSE 100 Index gained 0.02%, French CAC 40 Index declined 0.12% and German DAX 30 index rose 0.30%.
Asian markets ended mostly higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 0.05%, China's Shanghai Composite jumping 4.32% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 rising 0.05%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 0.71% and India's Sensex climbed 0.46%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at JMP Securities upgraded Adobe Systems (NASDAQ: ADBE) from “underperform” to “outperform.” The target price for Adobe has been raised from $26 to $42.
Adobe shares gained 5.99% to $37.66 in after-hours trading.
