A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are slightly lower this morning, as investors are awaiting nonfarm payrolls data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 11 points to 13,052.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 1.10 points to 1,411.90. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 2.50 points to 2,651.50.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.19%, London's FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.19%, French CAC 40 Index declined 0.21% and German DAX 30 index fell 0.22%.
Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 0.19%, China's Shanghai Composite surging 1.60% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 rising 0.89%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.26% and India's Sensex dropped 0.32%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Janney Capital upgraded McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) from “neutral” to “buy.” The target price for McDonald's is set to $104.
McDonald's shares gained 0.15% to $88.22 in pre-market trading.
