Australia posted a wider current-account deficit in the three months to Sept. 30.
The country's current-account deficit widened to 14.9 billion Australian dollars ($15.5 billion) in the third quarter, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The current-account deficit came in at A$12.4 billion on an adjusted basis in the three months to the end of June. However, economists were projecting a deficit of A$14.5 billion in the third quarter.
