Top Narrow Based Indexes For November 23, 2012
By 10:25 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 111.36 points, or 0.87%, to 12,948.25, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had gained 12.13 points, or 0.87%. The NASDAQ composite index rose 27.20 points, or 0.93%.
Some of the narrow based indexes that are driving the markets are Rare Earth Stocks, which have gained 7.5%, Taiwan Stocks and ADRs, up 2.9%, and Australia Stocks and ADRs, moving 2.6% higher as a group.
In Tickerspy's Rare Earth complex, Lynas Corporation Limited (OTC: LYSCF) had surged 13.5%. Lynas had $210.55 million in total cash for the latest quarter.
The best performing Tickerspy Taiwan Stocks and ADRs stock has been Siliconware Precision Industries Co Ltd (NASDAQ: SPIL), which was up 7.5%. Siliconware Precision Industries' PEG ratio is 0.74.
Alumina Ltd (NYSE: AWC) is today's leading Tickerspy's Australia Stocks and ADRs stock, gaining 7.5%. Analysts at JP Morgan upgraded Alumina from “underweight” to “neutral.”
