A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 66 points to 12,636.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 8.50 points to 1,368.30. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 16.25 points to 2,549.25.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 1.26%, London's FTSE 100 Index climbed 1.18%, French CAC 40 Index gained 1.62% and German DAX 30 index surged 1.61%.
Asian markets ended higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 1.43%, China's Shanghai Composite gaining 0.11% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 rising 0.52%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index surged 0.49% India's Sensex rose 0.16%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Deutsche Bank upgraded Computer Sciences (NYSE: CSC) from “hold” to “buy.” The target price for CSC has been raised from $38 to $46.
CSC shares gained 0.12% to close at $34.47 on Friday.
