Fossil Appoints Dennis R. Secor Chief Financial Officer

In an SEC filing this morning, Fossil FOSL announced that it had appointed Dennis R. Secor executive vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer of the company. The appointment will be effective December 10th 2012 according to the filing. Secor has over 6 years of experience as the chief financial officer and principal accounting officer for Guess? GES. In September it was reported that Fossil's current chief financial officer, Michael Kovar, would retire in March 2013, opening the door to a replacement. Michael had served at the position since October 2000. Shares of Fossil traded up 1.12 percent to $80.55 following the news.
