Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 52 points to 13,489.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 7.90 points to 1,444.80. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 13.50 points to 2,801.75.

A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.30%, London's FTSE 100 Index surged 0.22%, French CAC 40 Index gained 0.14% and German DAX 30 index rose 0.51%.

Asian markets ended mostly higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dropping 0.12% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 rising 0.99%.

Broker Recommendation Analysts at Citigroup upgraded Lennar (NYSE: LEN) from “sell” to “neutral.” The target price for Lennar has been raised from $22 to $35.

Lennar shares dropped 0.35% to close at $34.65 yesterday.
