A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are slightly lower this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 21 points to 13,029.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 3 points to 1,403.00. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 6 points to 2,768.50.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were mostly higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.21%, French CAC 40 index dropped 0.27%. London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.20% and German DAX 30 index rose 0.68%.
Asian markets ended lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 1.09%, China's Shanghai Composite dropping 0.29% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.64%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index declined 1.47% and India's Sensex dipped 0.80%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Deutsche Bank upgraded Williams-Sonoma (NYSE: WSM) from “hold” to “buy.” The target price for Williams-Sonoma has been raised from $38 to $48.
Williams-Sonoma shares gained 0.49% to close at $41.22 yesterday.
