Pre-open movers US stock futures are slightly lower this morning, as investors are awaiting ISM manufacturing data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 8 points to 13,071.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 2.20 points to 1,402.90. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 2.25 points to 2,768.75.

A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index declined 0.69%, French CAC 40 index dropped 0.64%. London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 1% and German DAX 30 index fell 0.52%.

Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 0.10%, China's Shanghai Composite dropping 0.75% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.60%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index declined 0.66% and India's Sensex gained 0.32%.

Broker Recommendation Analysts at Piper Jaffray upgraded Big 5 Sporting Goods (NASDAQ: BGFV) from “neutral” to “overweight.” The target price for Big 5 Sporting Goods has been raised from $8 to $12.

Big 5 Sporting Goods shares gained 1.03% to close at $8.52 on Friday.
