AstraZeneca Appoints Pascal Soriot As New CEO

AstraZeneca PLC AZN named Pascal Soriot as its new chief executive officer. Mr. Soriot has been chief operating officer of Roche Holding AG RHHBY since 2010. AstraZeneca shares fell 0.11% to close at $47.23 yesterday, while Roche shares gained 0.33% to close at $45.86 yesterday.
