US stock futures are slightly higher this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 4 points to 13,160.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 3 points to 1,412.80. Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 13 points to 2,788.00.
US stocks closed higher on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average surging 0.77% to 13,157.97, the S&P 500 index rising 0.65% to 1,411.13 and the Nasdaq 100 index gaining 0.54% to 3,069.79.

TIF is estimated to report its Q2 earnings at $0.74 per share on revenue of $891.61 million. Donaldson Company
DCI is estimated to report its Q2 earnings at $0.47 per share on revenue of $672.63 million.
Perfect World Co Ltd
PWRD is projected to post its Q2 EPS at $3.61 on revenue of $685.85 million. PVH
PVH is estimated to post its Q2 earnings at $1.20 per share on revenue of $1.34 billion.

HTZ announced its plans to acquire Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group
DTG for around $2.3 billion in cash.
European markets were mostly lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell 0.11%, French CAC 40 Index fell 0.30% and German DAX 30 index declined 0.08%.
Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 0.16%, China's Shanghai Composite falling 1.74% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 dropping 0.08%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index declined 0.41% and India's Sensex fell 0.59%.
Nymex crude-oil futures gained $0.84 to trade at $96.99 a barrel in electronic trade, while gold futures gained $0.10 to $1,673.00 an ounce.
The dollar index (DXY) declined 0.1% to 81.554. The euro rose 0.1% versus the dollar to trade at $1.2520.
The US dollar fell 0.03% against the Japanese yen to trade at ¥78.69.
