General Dynamics Awarded $20 Million to Support Indian Health Service's Electronic Health Record and Population-Health Programs

General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), was awarded a task order in April 2012 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to provide software engineering and support services for the Indian Health Service's electronic health information system, called the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS). This five-year contract has a potential value of $20.6 million if all options are exercised.
