O2Micro Receives Patent for Power Conversion Circuit

today announced that it was issued 20 claims under United States patent number 8,193,758 for its circuits and methods for Power Conversion. Laszlo Lipcsei, vice president, O2Micro, commented, "This patented power conversion circuit uses a single power stage to charge the battery with power from a solar panel during the day and will work as an LED driver during the night, thus simplifying the design and reducing cost."
