Smith Micro Software Denies Rumors about Apple Deal

Earlier today, shares of Smith Micro Software
SMSIrose more than 13%
amid rumors that the company would include its "Push-to-Talk" service with Apple's iOS 6, an operating system for iPhones and iPads. Now, Smith Micro Software has officially denied these rumors, stating that the company currently has no plans to incorporate its "Push-to-Talk" feature with Apple's iOS6. The company commented that it was unsure who originated the rumors. Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference took place today, where CEO Tim Cook discussed new Apple products, including a new MacBook pro. Smith Micro Software closed around 9.3% higher today.
