TSMC May Sales Rise 21% y/y

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd TSM reported a 21% y/y rise in its sales in May. TSMC's unconsolidated sales rose to T$43.62 billion ($1.46 billion) in May, from T$35.96 billion in the year-ago period and versus T$40.01 billion in the prior month. Its consolidated sales surged 20% y/y to T$44.14 billion. TSMC shares closed at $13.54 yesterday.
