Australia Q1 Current Account Deficit Widens
According to the government, Australia's seasonally adjusted current-account deficit rose by A$5.25 billion ($5.1 billion) to A$14.89 billion in the first quarter.
The country's exports declined 7%, while imports dropped 1%. However, economists were expecting a deficit of A$14.7 billion.
