CGI Group To Acquire Logica

CGI Group Inc (NYSE: GIB) agreed to buy Logica PLC (OTC: LGIAF) for £1.7 billion, or C$2.8 billion.

The deal price of 105 pence per share represents a 60% premium to Logica's closing price of 65.7 pence on Wednesday.

GIB shares closed at $20.42 yesterday.
