Research in Motion to Cut Thousands of Jobs

Research in Motion RIMM will eliminate at least 2,000 jobs and possibly more, according to Toronto's Globe and Mail citing sources. The layoffs are part of a global restructuring to begin in the next couple of weeks. RIM has 16,500 employees worldwide.
