iPhone 4 Drops to $49, Sells Out Immediately

Best Buy is offering a great deal on the standard iPhone 4 this week. But you're going to have to act fast if you hope to get one. According to Forbes, Best Buy BBY has dropped the price of the 8GB iPhone 4 from $99 to $49 with a two-year contract. Those who search Best Buy's website, however, will find that the only version available is the white Verizon VZ iPhone 4. You can check to see which stores have it in stock, but retail employees tell me that there is a four-hour delay between the website and store inventory. Consequently, by the time you make it to a location that (supposedly) has the iPhone 4, it may already be sold out. At press time, numerous Best Buy stores in Los Angeles and New York City had most versions of the iPhone 4 in stock. Follow me @LouisBedigianBZ
