Vision Systems International Awarded a Contract valued at approximately $32 Million to Supply Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing Systems (JHMCS) to The Boeing Company
Vision Systems International, LLC (VSI), a leader in advanced Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) technology, has received a new contract with a total value of more than $32 million for the delivery of the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) to The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) for the U.S. Navy and Air Force, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to include: Finland, Australia, Belgium, Canada, and Switzerland.
Under these production contracts, VSI will provide JHMCS including spares, technical support and ground support equipment for the Full Rate Production - Lot 8 (FRP-8) acquisitions. This procurement fulfills U.S. government domestic requirements and FMS production and spares commitments to a number of countries operating F-16 and F/A-18 aircrafts. Deliveries under FRP-8 will commence this year and continue through 2013.
