US stock futures are lower this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 76 points to 12,881.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 8.30 points to 1,354.20. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 17 points to 2,608.50. US stocks closed lower on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropping 1.27% to 13,038.27, the S&P 500 index declining 1.61% to 1,369.10 and the Nasdaq 100 index dipping 2.25% to 2,956.34. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index declined 2.61% and India's Sensex gained 0.61%. Nymex crude oil for June delivery dropped $0.62 to $97.87 a barrel in electronic trade. However, gold for June delivery fell $2.70 to $1,642.60 an ounce. The dollar index (DXY) gained 0.18% to trade at 79.65, versus 79.486. The dollar fell 0.03% versus the Japanese yen to trade at ¥ 79.83, down from ¥79.88.
