Shares of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group DTG dropped about 0.5% after the company lifted the low end of the range of its Q1 profit forecast. It now expects profit of $1.30 to $1.40 per share, versus its earlier forecast of $1.15 to $1.40 per share. However, analysts were projecting earnings of $1.21 per share. The company also lifted its full-year earnings forecast to $5.00 to $5.60 per share, versus its earlier view of $4.60 to $5.20 per share. Shares of Healthways Inc HWAY fell about 2.8% after the company reported that it has bought Ascentia Health Care Solutions, a Philadelphia area based company. Shares of Vodafone Group PLC VOD rose about 0.27% after the company agreed to buy Cable & Wireless Worldwide PLC CWIXF for 1.04 billion pounds ($1.7 billion), or 38 pence per share in cash. The deal price represents a 92% premium to the closing price of C&W Wireless shares on February 10. Shares of Colfax Corporation CFX fell about 3.1% after the company appointed Board member Steven E. Simms as the company's Chief Executive Officer.
