U.S. Patent Granted for O2Micro's Power System Invention

O2Micro® International Limited OIIM was issued 28 claims under United States patent number 8,058,817 for its Power System invention. O2Micro's patented invention provides a system of current regulators and filters to drive LEDs in traffic light, LCD TV, computer monitor, and other devices. "This system ensures power efficiency and accurate current regulation," remarked Laszlo Lipcsei, vice president at O2Micro.
