Sony To Lower 10,000 Jobs: Nikkei

Sony Corp SNE is planning to reduce 10,000 jobs, or around 6% of its workforce, according to the Nikkei newspaper. Sony expects a net loss of 220 billion yen ($2.7 billion) for the fiscal year just ended. Sony shares closed at $20.01 on Thursday.
