Japan Posts Trade Surplus In February

Japan posted a trade surplus in February. Japan's trade surplus came in at 32.9 billion yen ($395 million) for the month, after a deficit of ¥1.475 trillion in January, the Ministry of Finance said. Economists were expecting a ¥110 billion deficit for the month. Japan's exports for the month dropped 2.7% y/y, versus a forecast of 7.3% decline. However, imports climbed 9.2%.
