Volkswagen Brand Sales Surge 17.7% In February

reported a 17.7% rise in sales of its namesake VW brand in February. Volkswagen brand sales climbed to 399,700 vehicles in the month. Sales for the VW brand jumped 8% to 818,800 vehicles in the first two months of 2012. Volkswagen shares gained 0.09% to close at $34.46 yesterday.
